Task and issue tracking systems (ITSs)
Plastic SCM really shines when used for task-driven development. Accordingly, the ability to integrate with issue tracking systems is an important aspect of the product architecture. Plastic SCM offers out-of-the-box integrations with these systems:

Integrated Development Environments (IDEs)
Plastic SCM integrates with the most popular software development IDEs. Currently, there are extensive integrations with:
- Visual Studio
- Eclipse
- IntelliJ IDEA
In addition to those specific integrations, Plastic SCM also implements the SCC interface, so any IDE that supports it under the Windows platform can be easily integrated with Plastic SCM as well. The SCC interface is, however, more limited than the full integrations available for the IDEs above.
