• Pablo Santos - President

  Pablo is one of the co-founders, together with David. When not designing new features or coding server-based obscurities, you can find him blogging and writing about DVCS.

  He’s an associate professor at the University of Burgos (UBU) and a frequent speaker and blogger. He and David started coding for fun (more than profit) back in ’95. Codice is Pablo’s dream come true.

  Pablo loves motorcycles, especially Kawasaki, and even more if they were built back in the 90’s (ZXR power).

• Borja Ruiz - Senior Engineer

  Borja is one of our most experienced engineers. He knows the entire system in detail, from the GUI to the most obscure command to the server functionality. He’s the go-to guy when you need info about Plastic, but he’s always very, very busy.

  He loves driving fast, scuba diving, and is probably one of the few engineers on earth who knows everything about merging! He has a patent on it and has written our mergetool himself.

• Daniel Peñalba - Senior Engineer

  A long-term contributer to the project, Daniel was the fourth employee to join Codice, together with Borja. He owns the record in number of check-ins to the Plastic repository. He’s worked on every single area of Plastic, but will probably tell you he doesn’t remember it. :-P

  He’s an expert on GUIs and plugins (Visual Studio, Eclipse, and so on).

  He’s also the guy leading the WebUI development. Dani is a professional guitar player and likes scuba diving, too.

• Ruben de Alba - Senior Engineer

  A hard-core Plastic hacker, Ruben knows everything about the server, the replication system, database backends, importers, and well … EVERYTHING!

  He leads the core changes for Plastic SCM and knows a lot about Git, Mercurial, Subversion, and Perforce. Ask him tough questions and he’ll answer you, piece of cake.

  Ruben is learning to play electric guitar and he loves swimming, biking, hanging out with friends and breaking hearts.

• Jesus González - Software Engineer

  Jesus M. is one of the core team members. He joined as a junior eons ago and he has worked on almost every area since then. From importers to the latest Unity plugin, security to GitSync... there's no area Jesus M can't hack.

  Jesus plays soccer, likes cars, loves telling near to true stories and he is also learning to play electric guitar.

• Luis Rodríguez - Build Master

  Luis is our Build Master. Since he joined Codice, he contributed to several areas, doing a great job in documentation, testing and development. He is now the consolidated Build Master (+2yrs in charge), the man behind Plastic SCM daily release, hours of automated testing, the master of the virtual machines, the one in charge of the last mile before you get the Plastic bytes

  Luis is also an excellent writer and contributes to the blog regularly.

• Manuel Lucio - Support Master & Ambassador

  Manu is in charge of the Customer Support area. He deals with complex setups, policies and working methodologies on a daily basis.

  He's the one behind the light fast answers everyone using Plastic SCM is used to, and it is really a daunting task.

  Prior to taking full responsibility of support, he worked as software engineer. He has been in charge of load testing for quite some time, so if you want to know how well Plastic compares to SVN or P4 under a really heavy load, he’s your guy. Manu is a Mac user (pretending to be hardcore, isn’t really :-P). He took lead on several parts of the 4.0 code, including dealing with huge repositories.

  When not hooked to his iPhone, skate-boarding or learning Korean, he likes to play with Arduino GPS devices, mountain biking and playing tennis.

• Sara Dacuba - CFO

  Sara joined Codice with a mission: turn the company into financially well-managed one. Sara has broad experience with financial matters and worked for different companies in the UK before joining our team. She has a degree in Business Administration and has worked for Ernst & Young as an auditor and for Hewlett-Packard and Accenture, always in Accounting & Finance roles.

  When she is not working, you can find her shopping, hanging out with her family, or hiking in the mountains.

• Violeta Sanchez - Software Engineer

  Violeta is no longer the latest hire of the development team. She is a talented engineer who started as junior a couple of years ago and quickly probed her value, becaming one of the strongest coders in the team. From the server to the latest merge technology known to humankind, Vio definitely walks the path of the hacker

  In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and outdoor activities (and shopping!).

• Francisco Monteverde - CEO

  Kiko, as we all know him, is in charge of the company’s strategy, growth, profitability, and day-to-day operations.

  He has more than 20 years’ experience, including leadership positions in sales and marketing at Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, and HP. He enjoys connecting with and listening to our customers and partners. When a client has a question or concern about our product, he gets involved in finding a solution for them, even in complex matters such as a DVCS! His passion is to serve our customers and partners better than anyone else in the market.

  Kiko is a Telecommunications Engineer for the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and has a management grade in the IESE, Madrid (PDD-1998). Kiko loves diving, playing golf, and traveling to new cultures.

• Miryam Gomez - Software engineer

  Míryam worked 4 years developing financial software prior to join to Codice. She's our SQL expert and she's getting better and better on complex Plastic SCM parts such as transactions or security.

  Míryam obtained her degree in Computing Engineering at the Burgos University. She used to be a basketball player and she likes science and trekking.

• Amalia Hernandez - BDM

  Amalia is our Business Development Manager. Her role revolves around good communication: following up new business opportunities, planning and preparing new presentations, writing reports, overseeing the development of marketing literature, or providing management with feedback.

  She is follower and promoter of Agile development. With a large experience working as a software developer she feels comfortable facing difficult challenges. She loves moving people and ideas.

• Anuar Salim - Software engineer

  Anuar joined Codice in July 2012 after getting his Computing Engineering degree from the University of Valladolid.

  While he's still in the process to becoming a ninja coder... he's the only real ninja among us.

• Roberto Luis Bisbé - Software engineer

  The youngest team member so far. He's working on many different areas ranging from gui-related stuff to hard-core synchronization with other SCMs.

  Roberto graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and loves all programming related topics, from W8 to iPhone. Frequent blogger, speaker at events and an expert in Microsoft technologies.

• Carlos Alba Zamanillo - Support engineer

  From the cold fields of Iceland, returning to his homeland, Carlos just joined the ranks of the Plastic SCM support team.

  Carlos is a Telecomunications Engineer from the University of Valladolid and he loves football and rock music.

• Angel Rodriguez - CFO

  A seasoned financial expert who just joined the team to help Codice moving forward in his international endeavor.

• Fernando Val - UX/UI designer

  Fernando is our Web designer come from the wet lands of Ireland. He's our UX and UI design shaman, our Front-end sorcerer although he prefers to be called "CSSamurai".

  Fernando has a long career and expertise in this area, like Web designer and Lead design in some different companies and startups. He help us with his crazy ideas to create marketing and online communication campaigns.

  Also he's the VEP, (the Very Envied People) of the team, Fernando has the bigger and better screen in the office.

• Angel Mañas - Alliance Director

  Angel is in charge of our Partner Ecosystem, recruiting and activating partnership agreements to increase our local presence in all geographies.

  He has more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing areas, working in multinational companies in the IT and Telecommunication Industry (Microsoft, Xerox, Vodafone), and dealing with all customer audiences (consumer, small business and enterprise). Angel has University Degree in Computer Science for the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Angel loves playing chess, card magic and travelling.

• Business Development, North America

  David is responsible for our sales operation in the U.S. and Canada, and is based in Orange County, California.

  David has been in the SCM business for 20+ years, selling and servicing enterprise-scale SCM/ALM solutions, holding leadership positions in sales and professional services at IBM Rational, Telelogic, and Continuus Software. David believes in building strong trusted-advisor relationships with his clients and is passionate about the evolution of SCM technology. When he was first introduced to Codice Software, he was so impressed with Plastic SCM and our team that he just had to join us!

  When not pounding the pavement for new business, David spends his spare time volunteering as the judge trainer for the middle school Orange County Debate League, and also helps his wife with her photography business.
